“A Film Odyssey”:
This short follows an ape called darwin at the dawn of man. He enters the monolith and is thrust into the world of cinema, jumping through iconic movie moments. This was produced as a professional brief for The Phoenix.

Pancho Sombrero:
A character design project where James created a Mexican street urchin named “Pancho Sombrero”. Aspiring to one day be a great bullfighter (Matador), he braves the traffic washing car windscreens. He has featured in 2 of James's animations. | |
